Program Details

Saint Leo’s online MA in Creative Writing in Non-Fiction is intended to take your writing to a new level.  From diaries on your desk to the pages of periodicals, you will learn in an environment that is tailored to your individual goals. The online program at SLU is a blend of literature study and writing, where your curriculum and learning will be tailored via in a collaboration between you and a faculty mentor. You can gain the skills and knowledge to become the writer that you’ve always wanted to become.  Courses include:

Theory and practice in creative writing
Worship in creative non-fiction
Foundations in creative non-fiction

All three of Saint Leo’s online MA programs in writing require three on-campus residencies during the summers of this 2-year program.  Otherwise, you have the flexibility to write and study at your convenience, completely online.
