Saint Joseph’s College of Maine offers the online Certificate in Long-Term Care Administration. This certificate provides the introductory education necessary to begin managing in long-term care facilities. This program includes courses in the system, human resources and financial management, as well as legal and regulatory issues in long-term care. An internship, although not part of the certificate program, is available to meet administrator-in-training (AIT) requirements for licensure. The certificates and individual courses meet a number of needs, including serving as refresher course, meeting state licensure regulations and meeting continuing education requirements.
