The Associate of Arts in Social Sciences from Rose State College is an online sociology degree.  This is a broad-based introduction to the Social Sciences, providing the foundation needed to transfer to a related baccalaureate degree program at a four-year institution.  With a sociology program students study human behavior and how it is related to social life and social change.  You will examine how issues of race, gender, culture, and social class influence individual outcomes along with the individual’s response to social change, social upheaval, and civil unrest.  The curriculum offers an understanding of various areas of the social sciences, helping students understand how they interrelate.
