Program Details

The online Master of Science in Nutrition Education program prepares students in the fields of nutrition and dietetics who want to expand their commitments to nutrition education initiatives designed to impact the health and well-being of individuals, families, and diverse communities.  The curriculum balances the science of nutrition with solid teaching and communication practices, preparing graduates to lead efforts in healthcare, the community, and in the food and wellness industries.


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Cumulative minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Prerequisites in the life/physical sciences with a grade of “C” or better
  • One letter of recommendation
  • Official transcripts from each college, university or community college previously attended
  • Work experience in nutrition, dietetics, or a related health or science field highly recommended
