Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Health Professions Education program provides students with the opportunity to begin developing skills necessary for educating the next generation of healthcare practitioners, preparing healthcare professionals and students to transition from clinicians to educators.  The curriculum includes learning theory, instructional design, course development and assessment, and presentation skills.  Graduates are able to understand various learning styles and adjust instruction accordingly, develop courses or modules of study in areas of healthcare expertise, and assess student performance.
