Program Details

The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Roosevelt University is an online psychology degree that addresses a wide variety of topics.   This program aims to provide its students with a better understanding of people’s thought processes, emotions, and behaviors through the study of psychology.  Focusing on the study of mental processes and behavior, you also learn how psychologists ask and answer questions while studying the research and experimental foundations of psychology.  This online bachelor’s in psychology helps you understand research methods in psychology, learn critical thinking skills, and explains how to apply psychological principles to address various challenges concerning social justice.  

This program offers four optional concentrations:

  • Mental Health—learn about psychological well-being and distress, personality, and the ways mental health professionals address these concerns
  • Neuroscience—analyze the biological bias of behavior and organizational principles of brain functioning
  • Child and Family Studies—learn about child development, including such areas as parenting, schooling, and the place of children and families in society
  • Forensic Psychology—study psychology and the law in detail
