Rockland Community College is a public, two-year institution located in Suffern, New York, and is affiliated with the State University of New York system. The school was established in 1959 in Rockland County in response to the demand for an increase in a skilled and educated work-force. Within the next 20 years, the county’s population was the fastest growing in the state, so the school provided higher education for those who desired a community college close by.
RCC offers associate’s degrees and certificate programs. In addition to individual online courses, degrees that can be completed fully online are available through the Open SUNY Online Degree program.
