Master of Engineering in Microelectronics Manufacturing Engineering

Program Details

The online Master of Engineering in Microelectronics Manufacturing Engineering program provides a broad educational foundation on the semiconductor industry, so students gain an understanding of the processes and best methods for microelectronics.  Students learn to design and understand a sequence of processing steps to fabricate a solid-state device to meet a set of parameters, analyze experimental electrical data from a solid-state device to extract performance parameters for comparison to others in the device design, and understand the relevance of a process or device to current manufacturing practices.  Graduates are able to perform in a microelectronic engineering environment while also appreciating areas of specialty in the field, such as device engineering, circuit design, lithography, materials and processes, and yield and manufacturing.
