Program Details

Rochester Institute of Technology offers a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development that is designed for those in management and human resources who are interested in how to maximize the potential of employees and leaders. The program focuses on influencing an organization’s human assets in order to manage morale, efficiency, and behaviors to meet the environment of the organization.


  • Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
  • Submit official transcripts (in English) of all previously completed undergraduate and graduate course work
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (or evidence of relevant professional performance)
  • Submit two letters of reference
  • Submit a writing sample designated by the department
  • Participate in an interview with a faculty member (when required by department)
