Undergraduate Certificate in Motion Graphics
Rochester Community and Technical College offers a Motion Graphics Certificate which provides students who already have a degree, a specific topic of study as a designer. Students enrolled in the Motion Graphics Certificate will advantage from the certificate because it is an access point into the Interaction Design Associate of Science Degree program. This program gives students the skills they need to be a motion graphic designer. Image creation, designing for the web, animation, and motion graphics are all subjects that students will explore during this program. This online based program consists of 24 credit hours and can be completed in less than one year. Full and part-time schedules are available for courses and can be started any semester. All courses are offered online, however classroom environments are also offered for many of the classes. Students have a choice between taking the courses online or in the classroom environment.
Students enrolled in the Motion Graphics program at Rochester Community and Technical College are required to complete Core Requirements of the program. These requirements include subjects such as computer as creative media, graphic design, digital art, interactive web design, animation and 3D modeling, and motion graphics.
