Master of Religious Education in Missional Leadership
Rochester University

Program Details

The online Master of Religious Education in Missional Leadership program is designed for individuals committed to leading within the church. The program is built upon a solid biblical, theological, and pastoral foundation that believes in a practical and living gospel. Students also look at the gospels’ relationship to and with dynamic cultures.  Ministry preparation is now looked at differently in the new and evolving cultural context and needs to be conceived differently in both content and delivery to provide faithful ministry preparation. The congregation is seen as the primary place of learning for missional leadership, so courses are delivered in a manner that helps students remain in their congregational settings. You will take courses that are designed to focus on actual leadership tasks in missional congregations and all courses are integrated and sequential, building on what students have learned and anticipating what will come next.
