Family Nurse Practitioners work with patients of all ages and focus on the health and wellbeing of the whole person. Registered Nurses who complete the online MSN / Family Nurse Practitioner degree program are qualified to sit for national exams to become certified in family practice (FNP-BC)

In this RN to MSN program online, students learn how to diagnose and treat patients’ medical issues and prescribe medications, as well as research, educate, and counsel as necessary in medical practice. The program incorporates critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills along with advanced competencies for the healthcare field.
