Program Overview

This innovative AAS degree program in Supervisory Management is customized for students who are not available for a full-time class schedule. The accelerated format and convenient scheduling means that students can earn their degree in two to three years while taking advantage of the part-time flexibility of attending classes evenings, weekends and online. It is ideal for students preparing for careers, as well for as those already employed who want to be more effective supervisors because learning and work go hand-in-hand.

This training will prepare students for increased responsibility and authority roles. The program concentrates on building skills in leadership and organizational techniques, communications, employee motivation, managing human resources, team building, labor relations and other management theories and styles. Classroom networking opportunities are an advantage as students share and discuss real-life issues and workplace challenges.

The aim of an accelerated format is to connect course work to real-world workplace applications. It is essential to students success that they are willing to dedicate considerable time outside the classroom to reading, writing, research, presentations and projects.
