Program Details

The online Certificate in Production Technologies program prepares students for a variety of jobs with local manufacturers or to continue their educations and build on skills learned as Production Technicians.  The curriculum provides students with the training, education, and skills to build a base of knowledge of manufacturing processes and plant operations, generally for entry-level positions as Industrial Maintenance Mechanics, Welders, Machinists, Manufacturing Technical Specialists, and more.  Coursework topics include career success skills, technical mathematics, introductory computer skills, print interpretation, manufacturing processes, quality control, maintenance, and safety.

Requirements

  • Official high school transcript or GED certificate
  • Accuplacer or ACT scores (or evidence of successful completion of college-level math and/or English courses)
