Program Details

Rio Salado College offers an online social work degree, the Academic Certificate in Child and Family Professional Development.  This Academic Certificate is designed for practitioners in the early childhood, school-age, or home visitor field.  It can be used to meet a wide variety of national credentialing requirements, including the Council for Professional Recognition CDA or the National Child Care Association CCP.  You will complete the required training clock hours and resource file/portfolio required to apply to external credentialing organizations, but the external credential is awarded by the external credentialing organization. 

Students will take courses in the following areas:

• Home Visitor
• School Age
