Program Details

RCC offers the online AAS in Healthcare Documentation. This program prepares students for a career in the medical transcription/editing field. The curriculum combines the disciplines of medicine with the technical skills to learn how to interpret, transcribe, and edit physician dictation accurately.

The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) approved program may be entered at the start of any semester and provides the training to obtain an entry-level position as a medical transcriptionist or editor.
