Program Details

Reinhardt University offers the online Bachelor of Healthcare Administration (BHA). This program is designed for undergraduate students preparing for careers as managers in the public and private healthcare sector. Courses provide a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare delivery system in the United States, examine the special characteristics and requirements of organizations providing healthcare services, and addresses the skills and knowledge required in order to function as a professional manager in the field.

Some benefits of the Healthcare Administration online program are that it allows students to attain an education on their own time, at their own pace. For busy, working students with outside commitments, this flexibility is essential. It has an accelerated format where online courses are taught in eight-week terms, putting students on the fast track to completing courses and progressing in their careers. Also, students receive a high-quality education from accomplished, highly skilled instructors who have worked in private practice and major hospitals, Veterans Health Administration and national insurance providers, corporate healthcare providers, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and with healthcare consumer groups and major purchasers of healthcare services.

Requirements

Successful applicants to this bachelor-completion program will have completed a minimum of 30 college credit hours of transfer credit from a regionally accredited institution or a combination of college credits with healthcare employment experience. Students with fewer than 30 credits may first pursue the online Associate of Business Administration path.
