Master of Science in Software Engineering & Database Technologies
The College of Professional Studies (CPS) at Regis University in Denver, Colorado offers a M.S. in Software Engineering and Database Technologies degree. The program has a unique 36-credit curriculum, which has an international online experience. The 36 credits are distributed as follows: 12 credit hours are used for core courses, 12 credit hours are for degree course requirements, six credit hours are for electives, and six credit hours are for degree completion requirements. The CPS has teamed up with National University of Ireland, Galway (NUI). This component helps students learn about technology and how it relates to global commerce. These courses encompass important topics in such as, conceptual frameworks, methods, technologies, software development, and database development. This degree can be obtained with entirely online courses.
The degree is designed to cultivate advanced researched and/or development skills, learn more about computer information and communication systems, especially as they relate to global commerce, and increase their knowledge of software and database design and development. Graduates will possess the following competencies: professional skills, conceptual frameworks, methods, and technologies of systems design; and software development and database development to take advantage of the current needs in the marketplace.
