The online Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management program prepares students to assume a wide variety of technical, managerial, and consultative roles in the health care delivery system. The curriculum provides an education that is comprehensive, diversified, and well balanced, providing a solid understanding of business software applications, database systems, management and administrative practices, classification and research practices, decision-making and problem-solving strategies, and the legal and ethical impact of information technology in health care. Graduates also earn a minor in health care administration.
