Program Details

Grow your faith and gain greater insight with an online Master of Divinity with a concentration in the Old Testament from Regent University.  You will review the first 39 books of the Bible and study the major concepts within them.  By going back to the beginning, you can better understand today’s current debates in theology.  Electives within this concentration include:

  • Pentateuch
  • Joshua-Judges
  • Israelite monarchy
  • The Writings
  • The prophets

 
Regent’s Master of Divinity in the Old Testament requires a capstone course.  This culmination of your learning can be demonstrated through clinical pastoral education, a master’s thesis, or spiritual formation portfolio project.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required of all master’s applicants
  • Official transcripts
  • A minimum GPA of 2.75
  • High intellectual achievement and scholarship as evidenced by college transcripts and the applicant's writing sample
  • Spiritual maturity and integrity of character
  • Personal goals consistent with the mission of Regent University
