Master of Divinity

Program Details

With eight matriculation dates throughout the year, Regent University’s Master of Divinity program can fit your schedule.  In this graduate program, you will learn leadership skills to use within your church or other organization and gain insight into biblical and scripture interpretations.  Regent’s Master of Divinity can lead you to licensing or ordination as a minister, as well.  There are a dozen different areas of study available as concentrations, including:

  • Marketplace ministry
  • Church history
  • Cyber theology
  • Spiritual formation
  • Worship and media
  • Missiology

Regent’s online platform uses 8-week class lengths.  Classes are taught 100% online, enabling you to learn when it is convenient to your outside obligations.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required of all master’s applicants
  • Official transcripts
  • A minimum GPA of 2.75
  • High intellectual achievement and scholarship as evidenced by college transcripts and the applicant's writing sample
  • Spiritual maturity and integrity of character
  • Personal goals consistent with the mission of Regent University
