Master of Theological Studies / Biblical Studies

Program Details

The Master of Theological Studies degree with a concentration in Biblical Studies provides a graduate-level understanding of several theological disciplines for further graduate study or for general educational purposes. Taught from a Christian Renewal perspective, this MTS degree in biblical studies will prepare you for theological research, writing and theology teacher training by offering a general foundation in biblical studies. Our Master of Theological Studies coursework includes biblical hermeneutics, spiritual formation, biblical languages, Christian theology, and Old and New Testaments.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required of all master’s applicants
  • Official transcripts
  • A minimum GPA of 2.75
  • High intellectual achievement and scholarship as evidenced by college transcripts and the applicant's writing sample
  • Spiritual maturity and integrity of character
