Program Details

The Regent University Master of Arts in Law (M.A.) is purposely designed to aid:

  1. Working students who wish to study law for professional advancement.
  2. Students seeking a practical academic credential to increase their marketability as they launch their career.

Although the master's degree in law does not prepare graduates to practice law, it is a challenging program that grounds students in foundational legal contexts, taught through a Christian worldview, so they can better understand the laws that affect their chosen career.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited or approved institution; Must complete Law School Admission Test (LSAT); Submit a Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS) report; Official transcripts; Community Life form; Personal goals statement; Writing samples. This M.A. degree does not necessarily qualify a student for entry into a JD program. Pursuant to American Bar Association (ABA) standards, no course credit from this M.A. program may later be transferred into a JD program.
