Program Details

Regent University offers a 100% online Master of Arts in Practical Theology with a concentration in Church and Ministry.  In this advanced degree, you will improve your pastoral counseling skills and learn how to make a dynamic impact within your ministry.  You will also reflect upon your own character, leadership skills and church health.  Coursework within this concentration is likely to include:

  • Pastoral theology
  • Technology and media in ministry

Regent’s MA in Practical Theology with a Church and Media concentration requires a two-step capstone project.  This culmination of your learning is demonstrated through an internship and vocational integration which completes a spiritual formation portfolio.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required of all master’s applicants
  • Official transcripts
  • A minimum GPA of 2.75
  • High intellectual achievement and scholarship as evidenced by college transcripts and the applicant's writing sample
  • Spiritual maturity and integrity of character
  • Personal goals consistent with the mission of Regent University
