Program Details

The mission of the online B.S. in Professional Studies is to prepare Christian leaders for the workplace. This major is distinct from a business degree, for example, in that the purpose is not necessarily to develop business specialists or managers, but individuals who can function effectively and efficiently in the workplace regardless of their position. In the online B.S. in Professional Studies degree program, you will build upon the core competencies introduced in the general education curriculum and focus on the skills, knowledge, and wisdom that are critical to success in the workplace: written and oral communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, biblical worldview, service, leadership, and stewardship. You will study business communication, leadership, organizational behavior, teams, management principles and ethics—all online and designed to equip you to demonstrate Christian leadership through vocation upon graduation. Regardless of your chosen career field, you will be prepared to glorify Christ through vocational excellence.

The online B.S. in Professional Studies requires 24 credit hours of core curriculum plus 21 credit hours in a concentration with 12 of these credit hours being courses at the 300-400 level. This online degree program offers you the flexibility to choose a concentration that interests you or complements your career goals. Career Opportunities: Business, Ministry, Human Services, Criminal Justice, and Government.
