Program Details

At Rasmussen University, our fully online Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS) degree program helps further your skills through action-oriented, situational analysis in real-world case studies, exercises, simulations and coursework. You’ll build on the skills you already have as you gain an advanced understanding of industry-standard tools and languages, including Tableau®, SAS®, Scala, Python, R and Microsoft Azure®. You’ll develop effective analytical objectives and strategies, consolidate and create data sets, create analytical models and processes and present actionable business insights to stakeholders. The program covers 12 courses, each lasting 11 weeks, containing six modules and seven projects.

There are no GRE requirements and you can complete your degree in as few as 18 months for as low as $20,000.* The MSDS program is a Flex Choice® competency-based education (CBE) program, which means you gain more control over your time, allowing you to move quickly through topics you already understand and slow down with more challenging material. CBE is designed to be a flexible way to fit college into your busy life.
