Program Details

At Rasmussen University, our Human Resources and Organizational Leadership Bachelor’s degree-completion program prepares you for a career as a leader in today's changing business environment. As a student in our program, you’ll gain the skills and knowledge employers value most, including a thorough understanding of law and ethics, data analysis, compensation and benefits, staffing, and training and development. And, academic preparation for the highly valued Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM) Certified Professional certification exam, in addition to the Associate Professional in Human Resources™ (aPHR™), Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) and Senior Professional Human Resources® (SPHR®) certifications offered by the HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®) certification exams are built into your courses.1

This program is designed to fit your schedule and allows you to complete your Bachelor's degree in as few as 18 months.2 Offered at an accelerated pace, the program provides flexible, affordable and fully online courses in Rasmussen’s Flex Choice® learning format, which allows you to save on tuition and accelerate your program by combining traditional courses, self-directed assessments and competency-based education—the best of all worlds—so you can receive credit by demonstrating what you know and can do. Plus, students in all programs and at all credential levels study six employer-valued transferable skills, or soft skills: critical thinking, digital fluency, information literacy, communication, diversity and teamwork, and ethics and professional responsibility. When you pursue your future with Rasmussen University, online doesn’t mean you’re on your own. We provide robust student support services, such as academic advising, tutoring, library and learning services, 24/7 tech support and career services.

If your educational goals include a Master’s degree, our new accelerated Master’s pathway gives you the opportunity to start earning Master's degree credits while earning your Bachelor's degree. That means that you can finish up to 1/3 of your Master’s degree during your Bachelor’s degree program—saving you up to $4,000 in the process of earning your Master’s degree.3

2Completion time is dependent on transfer credits accepted and the number of courses completed each term.
3Time and cost savings are dependent on the eligible student completing both the Bachelor’s and the Master’s degree at Rasmussen University through the Accelerated Master’s Pathway program. If a student is not eligible or chooses not to continue on to earn their Master’s degree, the cost for the bachelor’s program is higher than for our standard Bachelor’s program. Savings vary based on the student completing courses on a full-time or part-time schedule.
