Bachelor of Science in Accounting
Rasmussen College offers the Bachelor of Science in Accounting. This program produces graduates that understand the accounting processes and cycles of professional accounting firms, businesses, and government agencies. In addition, students will learn the accounting fundamentals of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, preparation of tax returns, how to prepare and analyze financial statements and how to use computer applications proficiently.

This is a bachelor completion program. A total of 180 division credits are required to complete the degree, including transfer credits and 90 upper division credits.
Associate’s degree from an accredited institution as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or completed a minimum 60 quarter/40 semester credits; grade “C” or higher. In addition, students must provide evidence of having successfully completed with a grade of C or higher both Financial Accounting I and Financial Accounting II, or course equivalents.
