Program Details

At Rasmussen College, the Graphic Design Associate’s degree with a specialization in Animation and Motion Graphics nurtures your creativity and expands your technical skills in order to help you succeed in the design industry. With industry-experienced faculty and small class sizes, the program helps you become proficient in various media—including 3D design, motion graphics and animation—and learn how to employ a variety of techniques in multimedia design and traditional courses art. The cost for all necessary tools is built into your tuition and includes: Adobe® Creative Suite® Master Collection, Autodesk® 3ds Max® and a Wacom® Intuos® Pen digital drawing tablet. Also included in your tuition is the cost for up to three industry certification exams. 

Your courses are offered online and on campus to fit your schedule. And if you choose our Flex Choice option, you can combine traditional courses and optional self-directed assessments to save time and money. Adobe Creative Suite is a registered trademark of Adobe Systems Incorporated. Autodesk 3ds Max is a registered trademark of Autodesk, Inc. Intuos and Wacom are registered trademarks of Wacom Co. Rasmussen College will reimburse you any out-of-pocket costs of the application fee for each first attempt of up to three industry certification exams for which you qualify. Should you need to take an exam more than once to receive a passing score, you will be responsible for all subsequent exam application fees. Rasmussen College will provide practice exams and materials when available.

Completion time is dependent on transfer credits accepted and courses completed each term.
