Program Details

The online Master of Arts in Criminal Justice program is intended to provide leadership roles for professionals working in criminal justice or related fields.  Students will focus on core subjects in research methods and criminology and round out the degree with elective coursework.  You will gain a thorough and advanced understanding of the criminal justice system and the legal, theoretical, and public policy issues that are relevant to it, and will also learn about diversity and the effects of diversity within the context of contemporary issues of justice.  Graduates are prepared to make ethical decisions in the field, communicate effectively, and construct research designs that either evaluate agency programs or investigate empirical or theoretical issues relating to the criminal justice system.
