Prepare to work with an important part of the student population, those with special needs, with this online special education degree. This program is designed for general education teachers and pre-service candidates, providing the knowledge and skills they need to help all students succeed.  

The curriculum is designed around strategies needed for an inclusive classroom. Learn actionable skills and strategies for differentiation, collaboration, and accommodation which are all tools to create an inclusive classroom. You will learn how to enable these students to succeed in accessing the curriculum alongside their non-disabled peers. Candidates also gain a deeper understanding of the exceptional child.

Please note that this online special education degree is not a certification/licensure to teach special education but it may be applied to the MS in Special Education leading to cross-endorsement.
