Program Details

The online Interdisciplinary Master of Science in Engineering / Systems Engineering program is designed to produce professionals with a strong foundation in interdisciplinary engineering. Graduates will be equipped to devise and implement processes for creating responsive engineered systems that meet stakeholders’ needs. 

Students will learn how to apply cutting-edge methods for designing, analyzing, and controlling complex systems, particularly those tailored to rapidly changing environments. Application areas span a diverse range, including next-generation air traffic management, sustainable buildings, intelligent healthcare devices, healthcare delivery systems, flexible manufacturing integrated with design, next-generation transportation systems, and next-generation intelligent systems. Students pursuing the systems concentration also have the opportunity to earn a Graduate Certificate in Systems without requiring additional courses.
