Program Details

In collaboration with Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, Purdue offers a dual Master of Science in Engineering and MBA program.  This dual degree is aimed at engineering professionals who not only want to enhance their technical knowledge, but who also want to grasp the managerial aspects of business.  With this 1-2 punch, you can advance your career and earning potential.  

The online MSE portion by Purdue is customizable, with a specific ‘plan of study’, to fit your learning needs and career goals.  Kelley’s online MBA degree covers the main disciplines of business and incorporates two, 1-week immersion experiences on the IU campus for networking with your professors and classmates.  This online dual degree contains a myriad of engineering courses, core business classes, capstones and specific bridge courses which connect business with engineering.  These bridge courses are likely to be: 

  • Economics for managers
  • Operations management
  • Information technology
  • Quantitative analysis

Requirements

Students have the opportunity to go on campus once a year for face-to-face instruction and networking during the Kelley Immersion at Indiana University.

  • Must already hold an undergraduate degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program or one with equivalent standards
  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Statement of Purpose (300-500 words)

  • GMAT/GRE test scores
