Associate of Science in Accounting

Program Details

The online AS in Accounting degree program from Post University introduces students to concepts and principles that are the foundation of accounting. In addition to understanding the practical aspects of bookkeeping, students also explore in-depth accounting theories and use those theories to evaluate real businesses. Graduates are able to:

  • Perform basic functions of entry-level bookkeeping and accounting
  • Analyze, record and interpret accounting information
  • Prepare and interpret financial statements
  • Advance academically in accounting to a bachelor’s degree

Requirements

  • Accredited high school diploma or GED equivalent recognized by the Department of Education
  • Official transcripts
  • Cumulative 2.0 GPA or above
