Program Details

Portland State University offers a Bachelor of Criminology & Criminal Justice degree. The interdisciplinary program teaches on causation and crime control, along with operations within the legal system. Graduates will be well-rounded in theories and policies for successful endeavors in the field.


This is a bachelor completion program. A total of 180 credits are required, including transfer credits.

  • Have 45-quarter credit hours (30 semester hours) of transferable college work
  • Meet minimum GPA requirement: 2.25, or 2.0 if student has earned an Associate of Arts, Science or Oregon Transfer Module
  • Complete WR 121, or its equivalent college-level writing course, with a grade of C or better
