Program Details

The online Master of Science in Health, Human Performance and Recreation program prepares students for careers in the fields of sports, physical education, wellness, and recreation.  Students can choose from three emphasis areas that are designed to fit the needs of educators, exercise specialists, and recreation and leisure professionals. 

The areas of emphasis are:  

  • General 
  • Human Performance and Wellness 
  • Sport and Leisure Service Management

Requirements

  • A bachelors degree or higher
  • Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.70
  • Department interview
  • Statement of educational goals and objectives
  • Two personal letters of reference
  • Official transcripts
