Program Details

Learn the key skills and knowledge you need to expertly perform clinical procedures with the Associate of Applied Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Students will receive the clinical and didactic training required to obtain employment as entry-level nuclear medicine technologists.

Courses prepare you to safely use radioactive materials, operate imaging and counting instrumentation, and conduct laboratory procedures. Students will also learn about professional and compassionate patient care. In addition to online coursework, clinical practice rotations will be completed in-person in the student’s local area. Graduates of this online radiology degree may also be eligible to sit for the certification exam from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
