Program Details

The online Associate in Applied Science in Administration of Justice program is designed to prepare those already working in the field or just starting out to continue their educations at four-year institutions or helps those already working in the field to grow and develop academically.  The program also prepares individuals to begin careers in law enforcement, probation, parole, security, and related criminal justice fields or related technical occupations.  The curriculum consists of general education courses that develop the students’ backgrounds and teaches skills including communication, research, and critical thinking, and courses in the criminal justice field that provide knowledge and skills in this area.  You will learn about criminal law, the constitution, criminology, juvenile justice, police function, corrections, procedural law, investigations, and community relations.
