Penn State World Campus, in partnership with the highly-regarded Department of Labor Studies and Employment Relations, offers an online bachelor of arts in labor and employment relations, aimed at preparing students for various types of careers in human resources, labor relations, training, recruitment, employment law, placement management, compensation and benefits, and occupational analysis. The bachelor of arts in labor and employment relations relies on a curriculum steeped in the social sciences, humanities, and language as a supplement to the prescribed labor and employment relations courses. The bachelor of arts prepares individuals to explore the world of work from the perspective of sociology, rhetoric, and literature.
