Earn your high school diploma while taking the first steps toward a career as a veterinary assistant with Penn Foster’s Career Pathway program.
The High School Diploma Veterinary Assistant Career Pathway program is designed to help prepare high school students for a career in veterinary health. Along with a traditional high school curriculum, you’ll cover seven foundational veterinary assistant courses that can help you take the next steps toward accelerating your career in the field or prepare for furthering your education.
Courses in the Veterinary Assistant Pathway include:
- Behavior, Handling, and Restraint
- Child Care Professional 2: Observation techniques
- Small and Large Animal Nursing
