PC Maintenance Technology - AS Degree

Program Details

Penn Foster's PC Maintenance Technology program is designed to give students a foundational knowledge of system boards, installation of hard drives, troubleshooting, virus protection, data recovery, network protocol, web-hosting services, domain name registration techniques, Internet security, and HTML coding. Graduates are capable of programming with JavaScript, making web pages functional, and creating interactive Web applications using redirects and string manipulation.

Requirements

  • Have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent
  • Some programs may require 15 credits of general education prior to enrollment
