Penn Foster Career School offers students a Certificate in English: Comprehensive Skills in Reading and Writing. Penn Foster allows students to pursue their interest in English by completing an online program from home. Students learn correct word usage, parts of speech, and vocabulary, and increase sentence skills and the writing process. Students can earn a certificate without the need for a classroom. Students read, write, and use reference materials as part of their training. By earning a certificate online, students have the option of choosing when it is convenient for them to complete the coursework.

By completing the application online though Penn Foster Career School, students are able to experience an easy way of enrolling. Within a short period of time after enrolling, students are able to begin the courses. In completing the online English Reading and Writing certificate, students should learn valuable language and communication skills.

The comprehensive English program consists of three instruction sets, taking students on a step-by-step process to furthering reading and writing skills. As part of the reading skills set, students learn how to better interpret what they have read. Students should gain written communication skills by completing a three-part writing skill set. Finally, students engage in practical English, learning the parts of speech, word usage, sentence skills, and better understanding the writing process.
