Program Details
In order to prepare students for entry-level positions as computer programmers or database managers, Penn Foster Career School offers a Certificate for Computer Programming Languages. Students receive specialization in developing programming skills, database solutions, basic programming, managing control, and input devices. This certificate examines all programming languages, concentrating on students developing their own computer programs and skills. Students will study how to create simple and complex database solutions, build queries to interact with databases, analyze data reports, and create a relational database.
Students put the knowledge they’ve learned to use by building a Web-based application. The student manages files, output, dialog boxes, and controls, and form templates. Students also construct Building #C applications, and later add graphics and controls to the applications.
Prospective students may apply online. After the enrollment forms are processed and the student has been accepted, they may begin their coursework for the Computer Programming Languages Certificate.
