Program Details

With the help of Penn Foster, students can earn an Appliance Repair Diploma from home. Students will gain hands-on experience without the need for a classroom. Participants in the program learn how to repair clothes dryers and washers, ranges, ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, and sealed to repair refrigerators and freezers. And, every course includes sections on smart appliances. 

By earning an Appliance Repair Career Diploma, students are well suited to pursue a career path working in a repair shop or appliance dealer. This program can also be used as a foundational course to start a business.

Consisting of six courses, this step-by-step program demonstrates how to work electricity, electronics, and gas for home appliances, sealed refrigeration and freezers, and ovens, cooktops, and washing machines.

Admission into the diploma program requires an online application, which can be filled out on the Penn Foster Career School website. When enrollment papers are processed, students will receive the materials and may begin the program at their leisure.
