Program Overview

Park University’s Associate of Science in Information and Computer Science program prepares students for a broad range of career opportunities and graduate studies. Students choose one or more focus areas from these four options: computer science, software engineering, data management, or networking. Graduates may be able to find careers as web programmers, applications programmers, systems analysts, information technology (IT) project managers, database analysts, or network analysts.

    Park University was founded in 1875 under the name Park College. In 2000, the school changed its name to Park University. The university works toward the mission of "providing access to a quality higher education experience that prepares a diverse community of learners to think critically, communicate effectively, demonstrate a global perspective and engage in lifelong learning and service to others."

    Park University is a four-year, not-for-profit, private, university that awards certificates, associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees. Many degrees that can be completed entirely online.
