Program Overview

Palo Alto College offers the Associate of Arts in Psychology, a field of study that includes both research and practice. Students will learn fundamental things about human and animal behavior, and then apply that knowledge in helping to solve human problems.

    Palo Alto College was founded in 1983, when local parents rallied together and demanded a higher education institution in southern sector of Bexar County. In 1987, a full accreditation status was obtained through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Palo Alto College is classified as a public, two-year institution and is recognized as one of the top Hispanic serving institutions.
