Our lady of the Lake College is a 4-year, private not-for-profit institution of higher learning located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana that was founded in 1923. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools fully accredits this institution to award associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees. In addition to overall accreditation, the Radiologic Technology program, Physical Therapy program, Nurse Anesthesia and Nursing program have all earned specialized accreditation.
An objective of Our Lady of the Lake as an institution is to offer a learning environment that is influenced by the ideals of collegiality, community, democracy, social justice, and the culture of life that promotes both a personal and social responsibility of life in accordance with the Catholic Church.
Students have a broad range of options academically at Our Lady of the Lake College. There are six different bachelor degree programs, four master degree programs, and five associate degree programs. In addition to degree programs, students can also earn certificates in a variety of areas. These degrees and certificates are awarded through two different colleges: the School of Nursing; and the School of Arts, Sciences, and Health Professions.
