Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Wildlife Management program prepares students to identify effective solutions to complex and variable wildlife management challenges on the local, national, and international levels.  Graduates will be able to advance in their current positions as wildlife professionals or apply to graduate schools in similar disciplines.  The flexible program offers a large number of courses that can be tailored to fit each student’s interests and goals in topics such as fisheries and wildlife law, policy, and decision-making; wildlife sciences and management; and habitat science, restoration, and management.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university, preferably a B.S. degree with basic course work in biology and ecology
  • Students with other degrees will be considered, but should demonstrate some experience in a wildlife or conversation field
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA for undergraduate work
