Bachelor of Science in Vascular Technology
Blending “theory and practice,” Oregon Institute of Technology primes students for the workplace by focusing on technology education. Oregon Tech was established in 1947 when classes were first offered to students in a deactivated World War II military hospital near Klamath Falls. The Institute continued to expand and offered its first bachelor's degrees in 1970. Then in 1995, Oregon Tech issued its first master’s degree. By 2003, Oregon Tech had expanded its offerings once more through the addition of an online degree program.
Oregon Tech’s online programs offers bachelor’s degree options for “registered professionals” in the fields of health technologies. Upon acceptance into an online undergraduate degree program, students complete combined general education and major requirements, of which 45 credits must be earned at Oregon Tech. At times, students may need to complete required courses through other institutions’ online programs and then transfer these credits to Oregon Tech for approval.
