Oregon Institute of Technology offers an online Bachelor of Science in Echocardiography. Students will gain more opportunities and options with their career and further graduate studies. The curriculum provides education in basic medical science and echocardiography, built upon general education courses.
This is bachelor completion program. A total of 203 credits are required, including transfer credits.
- You must be a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echo through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), or a Registered Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- You must be employed in or have access to a full-service, properly equipped echocardiography laboratory to complete the clinical didactic courses and be eligible for clinical externship credit
- You must meet the Oregon Tech admissions criteria. Special admissions arrangements are also available
